Today, the House passed a budget that keeps spending caps in place, pays down debt for the state and for parish school boards that allow local communities to attract and retain talented teachers through competitive benefits and competitive pay raises.
Great work!! I wonder how much lower our taxes could be if all legislators followed your example. The legislators in South Carolina { my state}, managed to passe a RECORD budget this year. The reason, over half of our house members, according to the web site above, rate closer to how the dems are expected to vote than how republicans are expected to vote! But we do have 10 members who are part of the SCFC.
