BAN ON RANKED-CHOICE-VOTING IN LOUISIANA PASSES!
Now Headed for Gov. Landry’s Desk for Signature
BATON ROUGE – The Louisiana Freedom Caucus is happy to announce that SB101 by Sen. Blake Miguez, a bill prohibiting Ranked-Choice-Voting in Louisiana, has finally passed and is now headed for Gov. Jeff Landry’s desk for signature.
“With the passage of my bill, voters in Louisiana can rest assured that we will not abandon our one American citizen, one vote elections. The bill is now headed for Governor Jeff Landry’s desk where I’m confident he will sign the bill into law, making sure that every vote counts and our ballots are not trashed in a Ranked-Choice-Voting boondoggle. This is America! No one should ever be forced to vote for candidates that do not align with their political views just to have their ballots counted,” said Sen. Blake Miguez, founding member of the Louisiana Freedom Caucus.
